CHRIS TENNANT

Chris is a mind reader from Devon who specialises in apparent psychic readings!

Known for combining magic, mind reading and comedy into an act which has taken him all across Europe. His hypnosis show has received many standing ovations from international and corporate audiences.

Always highly in demand, for three years he worked as a headline performer at the House of Illusion in Salou appearing in over 1000 shows and performs for audiences of all sizes, whether one on one or a stage for over 4000!

Chris was also recently invited to perform at the “Amsterdam Magic Show” for two years running, several magic conventions for his peers and regularly consults for TV.

 

CAMERON GIBSON (HOST)

Cameron has had 5 successful Edinburgh Festival Fringe shows and has entertained and astounded thousands of people around the world.

During the day he is a speaker, and loves giving people the tools, inspiration and motivation to help them be the best version of themselves.

After Cameron’s brilliant performance last show – we can’t wait to have him back to host the show.

International Brotherhood Of Magician’s British Magic Champion, Elliot is a multi award winning comedy magician performing on stages around the world. 🌍

He’s just back from Fringe World Festival in Australia where he won the ‘Weekly Comedy Award’ at the festival, with the show also receiving a 5 star review.

 

IAN KENDALL

Ian is an award winning magician who has amazed audiences across the globe with astonishing feats and incredible miracles.

He has performed in pretty much every situation, from close up magic on the Orient Express train to the world famous The Magic Castle in Hollywood, the F1 at the Bahrain International Circuit to the top hotels in London and Edinburgh.

 

WILF KEYS

Wilf Keys, is an award winning magician, who mixes magic and absurd reflections on life into a magic comedy spectacle.

When not teaching his spaniel card tricks he hosts the weekly Whisky & Wizardry experience in Edinburgh.

Kevin Quantum Edinburgh Magic Show

KEVIN QUANTUM (Magician)

Kevin had the most fascinating introduction into magic. Back in the mid 2000s he starred in one of the most popular reality shows at the time, ‘Faking It‘.

– Artistic Director of ‘The Edinburgh International Magic Festival’.

– First Magician to perform at the Globe Theatre in London, performing to over 6000 members of public.

THE GREAT AZIZ (Magician)

Aziz has had a passion for magic since childhood and has been actively practising for over 30 years.

– He has entertained audiences in over 14 different countries.

– Is a member of The Magic Circle,

Aziz is also a graduate of the esteemed California-based Chavez Studio of Magic (founded in 1941 by @Ben Chavez). This is where magicians such as David Copperfield, Channing Pollock and Norm Nielsen honed their craft.

 


MANDY FLETCHER (Magician)

Mandy has magic in her blood, being a third generation magician.

She has starred in the world famous ‘House Of Illusion’ in Spain for 3 years and has just finished two summers performing on Viking Line Cruise Ships.

An accomplished performer, Mandy is also a dancer (dancing from the age of 2). This has influenced the magic she performs and we can’t wait to see what she has in store for the Edinburgh Magic Show!

 

SEAN HARRINGTON (Magician)

Sean Harrington started his lifelong passion at the age of 7 when he learned his first magic trick off of a TV show. 12 years down the line and he has immersed himself in his hobby and is a self confessed ‘magic addict’.

He is the Co-Founder and current President (2019/2020) of the Edinburgh University Magic Society – a thriving magic club in the heart of Edinburgh. As well as this, Sean is also the Vice-President of the Forth Valley Magic Circle.

Sean has won several awards for his magic including:

– Winner of the John Ramsey Rose Bowl For best Magical Effect in the Scottish Association of Magical Societies Close Up Competition (2018-2019)
– Winner of the Stuart Leith Sheild in the Scottish Association of Magical Societies Close Up Competition (2018-2019)

LEWIS BARLOW (Magician)

Magical consultant to the BBC, Past President of the Edinburgh Magic Circle and winner of numerous national conjuring awards, Lewis produces unforgettable reactions wherever he performs.

He combines astonishing magic with a relaxed manner and his unique skills have led him to become one of the UK’s most sought-after magicians.

TARYAM BOYD (Compère) 

Taryam Boyd is a Scottish comedian/actor of Arab descent. A tiny man who lived with his gran, Taryam relays his experience of growing up between two mad cultures and what dating is like at 5”1’.

He is known for his work on BBC River City (BBC Scotland) and has appeared on Fags, Mags & Bags (BBC Radio 4), Mirror Mirror (BBC Scotland) & The Glasgow Trip (Online).

• Best Newcomer 2019 – Nominated/Won. 
• Inaugural “Yer Dah” Battles Champion.

 

Louise Andrée Douglas (Magician)

Louise Andrée Douglas is a Scottish London based Magician & Illusionist and member of the Prestigious The Magic Circle, taking the magic scene by storm whilst challenging the traditional roles of women in magic!

Louise specialises in close up as well as stage magic and illusions. Proud to still also work as a ‘box jumper’ she has worked with some of the worlds most renowned magicians and appeared on tv screens internationally as well as in London’s West end Show ‘Impossible’ of which she also joined the UK and international tours .

She has appeared and disappeared (!) on BBC’s The Magicians, Now You See It & Breaking Magic.

One third of all female magic group CHICKS N TRICKS , Louise loves to combine her experience & skills as both ‘magician’ and ‘assistant’ to shake up the traditional stereotypes of magic performance.

 

THE GURU (Magician)

Legend has it he was born with no name but simply a title – ‘The Guru’. After his magical powers and sorcery developed to an unprecedented ‘Level 11’….he decided to chill out a wee bit (nobody likes a show off do they?).

Expect magic, mind-reading and above all, lots of laughs from this truly unique act.

IAIN CAMPBELL (Host)

Iain Campbell is a stand up comedian, writer, resident compère at Monkey Barrel Comedy clubs ‘Project X’ and all round good guy. When he’s not saying stuff and everyone is totally laughing, Iain enjoys very short walks on the beach and drinking wine in small – medium quantities. He is much taller than you would initially think and has a full head of hair. 

 

ANDREW MCKINLAY (Mystery Artist)

Andrew is one of the top corporate entertainers working the circuit right now. 

Named “Scottish Young Magician of the Year” at just 15, Andy’s magic is sure to bedazzle and bewilder! When he’s not performing 60 shows during the festival, he’s delivering top class performances up and down the country specialising in close-up magic, mind-reading and stage acts.

He is also one of the only magicians to win Edinburgh Magic Circle’s ‘Close-up Magician of the Year’ award two years in a row.

MAGIC GARETH

Magic Gareth is an enthusiastic entertainer based in Edinburgh. A magical, balloon twister, that won’t disappoint, he’s highly regarded through-out his peers. We are looking forward to welcoming Gareth for his debut performance at the Edinburgh Magic Show and can’t wait to see what he has in store!

So whilst spending 4 years studying Mechanical Design Engineering in Glasgow he took a keen interest in psychological mentalism. Hes never looked back since and is still on the dark side.

We welcome back this incredibly talented Rubik’s cube genius to the Edinburgh Magic Show and we can’t wait to see what he has in store!

When Rubik’s wanted a magician for their anniversary celebrations, they called on Adam and he simply blew them away! Aged just 17, Adam has already been performing in public for over 7 years, recently combining his two passions: magic and Rubik’s Cubes. Adam can’t wait to bring his award-winning act to the Edinburgh Magic Show this March – what he does with the Rubik’s Cube must be seen to be believed!

JESTER STYLES

Jester Styles promises a different type of magic, taking inspiration from the places and people around him in Coventry. He infuses street magic and mind-reading to create an unforgettable experience. 

His unique approach is adaptable to any stage and we can’t wait to see what this dark performer has planned for the Edinburgh Magic Show. 

He is the official match night magician of the Coventry Blaze Ice Hockey Club who employ him to entertain their VIP guests and business partners at every home game. 

 


STEVEN BLAIR 

Born and raised in Kilmarnock, Scotland, Steven discovered his passion for magic at at a young age when he got a magic set for Christmas from his parents.

He quickly practiced and mastered the tricks in the set and started to show what he had learned to anyone who would watch. This was when Steven first discovered his passion for magic.

At the age of 10, he performed for the first time in public at a talent show in Kilmarnock and won the grand prize of £5. Since then, Steven’s love for the art has only grown, quickly getting him a reputation among friends and fellow magicians as a very entertaining performer.
